Author guidelines and manuscript submission

Follow these guidelines to prepare your manuscript and submit it to Trinix Journal.

How to publish with Trinix Journal

  1. Confirm that your manuscript fits the journal scope and select the correct article type (Research Article, Review Article, Short Communication, or Letter).
  2. Prepare a complete manuscript with clear sections, figures, tables, and references.
  3. Collect the required files: main manuscript, figures, cover letter (recommended), and any supplementary data.
  4. Provide declarations for ethics approval, conflicts of interest, funding, and data availability.
  5. Submit via the online portal and use a single corresponding author email for all communication.
  6. Respond to editorial feedback and upload revisions when requested.

Manuscript criteria

  • Original work that is not published or under review elsewhere.
  • Clear objectives, sound methods, and conclusions supported by evidence.
  • Relevance to ancient knowledge, materials, sustainability, or related applied sciences.
  • Complete references with DOIs where available.

Formatting and structure

  • A4 page size, 12 pt font, double spaced, and 1 inch margins.
  • Title page with author names, affiliations, and corresponding author contact.
  • Abstract of 200 to 300 words and 4 to 6 keywords.
  • Standard sections: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion.
  • Figures at least 300 dpi and tables provided as editable text.
  • Use SI units and a consistent citation style throughout.

Ethics and integrity

  • All submissions are screened for originality and plagiarism.
  • Human or animal studies require ethics approval and informed consent.
  • Disclose conflicts of interest, funding sources, and author contributions.
  • Include data availability and code sharing statements when applicable.

Review process and decision

  • Editorial screening checks scope, completeness, and policy compliance.
  • Double-blind peer review is conducted by independent reviewers.
  • Decisions include accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.
  • Typical first decisions are made within 3 to 4 weeks depending on reviewer availability.
  • Accepted papers proceed to copyediting and proof review.

Submission checklist

  • Main manuscript file in DOCX or PDF format.
  • Figures as separate files (PNG, TIFF, or JPG).
  • Tables provided as editable text.
  • Cover letter describing novelty and journal fit.
  • Ethics approval or consent statements where required.
  • ORCID for the corresponding author (recommended).

Publication fees

Trinix Journal operates a hybrid open access model. Open access articles carry an APC, while subscription publication is available. Invited submissions may receive APC waivers through Dec 2025. Request a waiver during submission if applicable.
